Youth After-School Program

The Youth After-School Program involves youth in a variety of activities Monday through Friday. Activities include homework assistance, arts, crafts, and other educational and recreational programs. Limited spaces are available and priority will be given to children (grades 1-8). Limited transportation is available from Lindley Elementary, Study Elementary, and Bloomingdale Elementary Schools.


The following accommodations will be made for on-site programming:

  • All CDC recommended protocol for cleaning, sanitizing, social distancing, and masking by all will be adhered to and monitored closely.
    50 enrolled youth in 2021.
    • Snack served daily for on-site programming
    • Dinner served daily for on-site programming

    Educational & Recreational Activities Include

    • Bingo
    • Science projects
    • Art projects
    Youth After-School Program Hours
    • Monday thru Friday
      3:00 pm – 6:30 pm

    WINTER WEATHER POLICIES

    • If FWCS calls a delay because of snow or ice, then there is no transportation after school or program.
    • If the weather becomes too severe during program, then we may be forced to close early and you may be asked to pick your children up from program.
    • If FWCS cancels after school activities, then all Wellspring after school activities are also canceled.
    • If FWCS cancels school, then Wellspring will be open from 1:00-5:00pm for drop-in and snack, weather permitting. Please call ahead or check our Facebook page before dropping your children off at Wellspring.
