Joan Baumgartner Brown
Interim Executive Director
It’s such a privilege to walk with this talent, dedicated staff as the interim director. As the board thoughtfully searches for Wellspring’s next leader, the day-to-day work of serving our neighbors continues with commitment, compassion, and joy and with the support of so many faithful contributors. It’s a great pleasure to be a part of this work!
Assistant Executive Director
Wellspring has such a long rich history of serving the community for over 50 years now. I’m so excited to be a member of the Wellspring family who have a passion for giving back! It truly is an honor to be a part of an organization that has such a positive impact in our community.
Youth Department Co-Director
I didn’t know I wanted to work with children until after I volunteered for the Wellspring After School Program. For the past 16 years, I’ve been working with the children at Wellspring – I love coming to work each day and being with kids. I love to see the excitement they get from the activities – I like that every day brings something new.
Youth Department Co-Director
At Wellspring we strive to help make our youth a valuable component of society. Each day brings new smiles and laughter. It's amazing to see the children's growth throughout the years - from education and homework time to social skills and interaction with peers.
Food Bank Director
Working at Wellspring allows me to not only help people, but make an impact in so many lives. I am fortunate to be a part of such an inspiring group of compassionate people. Our staff and volunteers make coming in to work a pleasure. The food bank is a wonderful program that will continue to grow and serve our community.
Family Case Manager
I love serving my community and Wellspring puts me in a position to do just that! I’m excited about working with families and connecting them with various supportive services in our community.
Older Adult Program Director
I feel so fortunate to work on a team that loves to serve! Serving has always been my passion and I love the mission we have to serve the community in Fort Wayne. I especially love that we meet such diverse needs from a variety of ages, ethnicities, religious backgrounds and socio-economic status.
Older Adult Program Assistant Director
I am happy and proud to be working at a place that provides a variety of services to those in need. I enjoy working in the Older Adult Program because we offer activities that support the seniors social, mental, emotional, and physical needs.
Working at Wellspring – alongside such a dedicated, empathetic, and hardworking set of individuals – is a gift and a pleasure. Managing the Wellspring Shoppe in particular is a fantastic opportunity for me to not only clothe individuals and families in a dignified manner, but to build long-lasting relationships with clients and volunteers from the community that we serve.
I enjoy a job where you can serve and help others while making a positive impact in their lives. Wellspring has been doing exactly that for over 50 years!! I am so blessed and excited to be a part of an organization like this. There is a difference being made through Wellspring.
