Youth After-School Program

The Youth After-School Program involves youth in a variety of activities Monday through Friday. Activities include homework assistance, arts, crafts, and other educational and recreational programs. Limited spaces are available and priority will be given to children (grades 1-8). Limited transportation is available from Lindley Elementary, Price Elementary, Study Elementary, Forest Park Elementary, and Bloomingdale Elementary Schools.


      64 enrolled youth in 2023. We provided 3,619 visits.
      • Snack served daily for on-site programming

      • Monday thru Friday
        3:30 pm – 7:00 pm

      WINTER WEATHER POLICIES

      • If FWCS calls a delay because of snow or ice, then there is no transportation after school or home from program.
      • If the weather becomes too severe during program, then we may be forced to close early and you may be asked to pick your children up from program.
      • If FWCS cancels after school activities, then all Wellspring after school activities are also canceled.
      • If FWCS cancels school, then Wellspring will also cancel after-school program.
      • Any announcements related to changes in after-school programming will be sent through the Remind app.
