Youth After-School Program

The Youth After-School Program involves youth in a variety of activities Monday through Friday. Activities include homework assistance, arts, crafts, and other educational and recreational programs. Limited spaces are available and priority will be given to children (ages 17 and under) who attended last school year. Limited transportation is available from Lindley Elementary and Study Elementary Schools.

The following accommodations will be made for on-site programming:

  • All CDC recommended protocol for cleaning, sanitizing, social distancing, and masking by all will be adhered to and monitored closely.
    50 enrolled youth in 2021.
    • Snack served daily for on-site programming
    • Dinner served daily for on-site programming

    Educational & Recreational Activities Include

    • Bingo
    • Science projects
    • Art projects
    Youth After-School Program Hours
    • Monday thru Friday
      3:00 pm – 6:00 pm


    • If FWCS calls a delay because of snow or ice, then there is no transportation after school or program.
    • If the weather becomes too severe during program, then we may be forced to close early and you may be asked to pick your children up from program.
    • If FWCS cancels after school activities, then all Wellspring after school activities are also canceled.
    • If FWCS cancels school, then Wellspring will be open from 1:00-5:00pm for drop-in and snack, weather permitting. Please call ahead or check our Facebook page before dropping your children off at Wellspring.
